- How does it work?
Selling your home quickly for cash with Good Move is a straightforward process.
Just get in touch, either directly or using our online valuation form to get started. From here, one of our property buyers will contact you within 24 hours with an offer in principle. This offer is an educated estimate, and may be subject to change upon inspection.
Happy with the offer in principle? Great! We’ll send our asset management company over to complete two appraisals, which will be sent to our survey team. This is all free of charge, and is a no obligation process.
Our survey team will then make a formal offer, and once accepted our solicitors will get to work.

- How does Good Move value properties?
The offer in principle is completed by our regulated property buyers.
Our asset management company will then instruct two local estate agents, who know your area and the current market inside out, to value your property. Two valuations will then be provided upon inspection of your home. This will be used by a RICS chartered surveyor to create the final offer, and to complete a RICS Homebuyer Report.
- How much do we pay?
Each property is unique, and we’ll pay you a lump sum based on the valuation of your property. We typically offer up to 85% of a property’s value for a direct purchase.
We also offer other options to achieve a higher sale price, however this usually means a slower process and we won’t be buying directly – something to bear in mind for sellers looking to sell a property quickly.
- What areas do we buy in?
We currently buy properties in England and Wales.
- How long will it take to receive an Offer in Principle and Formal Offer?
Every home is different, and we’ll establish a timescale that works best for you.
However, we aim to present you with an offer in principle within 24 hours and complete the sale, alongside providing you with a final offer, within 3-4 weeks.
- How much does it cost to sell with Good Move? Are there any associated fees?
When you sell with Good Move, there are no fees. We’ll provide you with a recommended solicitor for no extra cost or, alternatively, give you £500 to cover legal fees if you’d prefer to use your own solicitor.
- Can Good Move buy any type of property?

- Are Good Move direct buyers or middle-men?
